Via its music services division (Trackdown Music & Audio Services) Trackdown has been associated with movies such as Australia, Happy Feet, No Reservations, Hey Hey It's Esther Blueburger, The Bank Job, Master & Commander, Moulin Rouge, Dark City, Crocodile Hunter, The Quiet American, Hero, Inspector Gadget 2 and Hearts in Atlantis. Trackdown offers full music services for movies and television.
Located adjacent to Fox Studios, Sydney Australia, Trackdown has access to both the Fox professional precinct, which houses some of the worlds best post production service companies (including Soundfirm, Spectrum and Animal Logic), and the public Entertainment Quarter with restaurants, bars, cinemas, shops, ample parking and even ten pin bowling, all within a one minute walk.
Trackdown is equipped with the highest quality audio equipment basing its control room around a Pro Tools HD Accel 2 system and a Yamaha DM2000 digital console. The control room is 5.1 surround monitoring enabled, is capable of playback of up to 128 tracks and operates up to a sample rate of 192kHz. Pro Tools inputs via 56 channels of microphone pre-amplifiers (48 of which are custom built).
The perfect rehearsal space
Trackdown is the perfect VIP rehearsal space. The Main hall is air-conditioned
and all lights are on dimmers. There is a green room and an outdoor courtyard
for musicians, easy bump in and bump out for
PA gear and ample parking. Privacy and security for VIPs is guaranteed.
