Valerie Shishoian is Trackdown's newest Studio Assistant. ​As a recent graduate from the University of Technology Sydney, studying a Bachelor of Music and Sound Design, she has a strong passion for music business and artist management. With an understanding of Pro Tools and Ableton, and a deep appreciation for the creative processes behind every recording, she plays an active role in supporting studio sessions and music preparation.

Her journey into the industry has included an A&R internship at Universal Music Australia, working with the EMI Australia A&R team in scouting new Australian talent, artist demo feedback and event preparation. In addition, Valerie has worked as an Event Manager, organising live music events to help establish up and coming Australian artists.

Valerie is passionate about continuing to grow within the wider audio industry. Through shadowing the incredible team around her, she hopes to use and expand her music business knowledge and artist management skills into the exciting world of film, TV and games.
