Trackdown is a one-stop shop for your film scoring needs. Trackdown's experienced team of score co-ordinators can book all aspects of your project including studio, engineers, studio personnel, players, conductor, additional equipment, choirs, orchestrators and copyists. Trackdown can facilitate in studio recordings or remote recordings via Source Connect X which offers live streaming of a 5.1 desk mix of your score. We also offer music editorial by an MPSE award winning team and mix services.

If you are doing Source Connect sessions from LA the time difference means you start recording in your afternoon and finish late at night; and when you wake in the morning, the edited files are delivered and ready to mix, which takes advantage of a 24 hour work day.

Trackdown's team is not just known for its creative capabilities but also its administration and project management skills. Trackdown's Geoff Watson and Elaine Beckett have combined experience of over 20 years of Executive Producing, Line Producing, Post Production Co-ordination and Score Supervision.
Trackdown's Music Supervision Department is headed by Gary Seeger. Gary has been involved in the music & film business for 25 years. Seeger's experience and knowledge stems from numerous music industry jobs; from music licensing and soundtrack label management, to artist management and publishing. He's worked with oodles of artists, from the unknowns that nearly had a hit all the way through to Powderfinger.

Trackdown's two recording studios at Moore Park cater to all your recording and mixing needs.The Simon Leadley Scoring Stage is Australia's largest purpose-built orchestral scoring stage with two isolations booths is perfect for all types of recordings from soloists to bands, orchestras and choirs. The Studio (formerly Mix One) at Moore Park is the optimum recording and mixing environment. The live room is suitable for small ensembles and soloist and the control room has been designed to match the Scoring Stage's main control room so projects can easily move between the two spaces. The studios are all fitted out and maintained by our highly skilled team of technicians and our administration team are available to help co-ordinate your project to achieve your desired results. You can hire any facility with an in-house engineer or you can bring in your own engineer.

Trackdown's Simon Leadley Scoring Stage is a popular rehearsal venue for Orchestras and leading bands and performers due to its great acoustic qualities and ability to test Front of House in the venue.

Trackdown's Main Hall is the perfect location for film shoots. The 440 metre square Main Hall is full air-conditioned, has a lighting grid (which can be accessed by a one man lift), 3 phase power and ample 240V power points available. You can build a set, use a back-drop or utilise the natural beauty of the room. If you need help organising a Camera Crew, Trackdown staff can assist with this too.
